There is a big difference between preventive treatments and treating something once you have it and are forced to deal with it. Good prevention should be balanced and inclusive of what you specifically need. There are recommendations for the general balance that is the mean for everyone. Each person is unique; and a specific program, worked out well for what your body needs using the basic guideline of the average, will use that mean as a good place to start.
Preventive treatment takes into consideration your risk factors for contracting a disease or condition such as cancer. You need to see how prevalent in your genetics, for example, is a certain kind of cancer. Diet and proper exercise are main considerations. You can't maintain any kind of health with eating properly or getting the minimal amount of exercise. Exposure to toxic elements in your environment put you at risk, and, beyond basic health, that's the most important point to address in prevention. You may need to start with a detoxification program. Not everyone who is exposed to the same toxic material, reacts towards it in the same way. Some people have stronger immune systems and other people may have natural resistance to certain material.
Listed here are specific nutrients and how they affect your body. This information may be used by persons wishing to reduce their risk for developing cancers, or to assist in healing if cancer has already been diagnosed. Nothing here is meant to suggest a diagnosis of any condition or recommendation for treatment. If you are ill, see your doctor.
Supplements of minerals, vitamins, herbs and certain foods assist the body to properly absorb the nutrients and elements that protect tissue and cells from further cancer growth. Some of these can prevent cells and tissues from deterioration thus, in some cases, thwarting the cancer cycle.
