Factors associated with this kind of cancer are:

  • A lack of dietary fiber and calcium
  • Having polyps to the point of needing them removed
  • A family history of colon cancer
  • Bouts of continued constipation and/or diarrhea
  • A buildup of toxins in the colon and/or rectal area
  • A diet too high in fiber, which can irritate the colon and/or rectal area
